Well, yawn... LONG weekend... I have not nuked the Etch HDD yet. Where can I get my hands on 3.0.24-6etch4? I was working for a while with 3.0.24-6etch1, then saw 3.0.24-6etch2 available so downloaded
that build.

I realize the bug report is vague... LONG weekend like I said. I intend to provide step-by-step details, but if 3.0.24-6etch4 addresses the issue(s) then it is a moot point and this bug report may be
closed with 3.0.24-6etch4 as the resolution.

hhhmmmm... I think I can upload the PDF of the slides (current as-is) for the presentation... give me a second...
(I intend to provide a zip with the scripts, etc... but I said *intend* ;-) )

Starting at page 31, there is a "brain dump" of steps to setting up a Samba PDC.
initGrps.sh seems to not take effect, or has weird results...
initLDSInst.sh and initPrintOperator.sh both fail.
And you have to attach a Windows box to the domain and logon to recreate the missing / weird group membership issues.
