Again, please send us that information. We really need it to process
this bug and understand whether a real bug lies somewhere. Frankly
speaking, my personal conclusion is that I see no bug here and more a
general rant which is not really easy to make something with.

The only thing I see is that you're trying to use "valid users" in the
General section of smb.conf while it pertains to the shares sections only.

Without further details, we'll be forced to close that bug report.
