I went on one by examining the current diff between Debian and Ubuntu
versions of 3.0.25:

--- 3.0.25-1/debian/po/pt.po	2007-05-21 12:15:48.000000000 +0100
+++ 3.0.25-1ubuntu1/debian/po/pt.po	2007-05-21 12:14:55.000000000 +0100

I think that changing "Report-Msgid-Bugs-To" in PO files is not really
a good idea, nor is changing the "POT-Creation-Date".

The debconf templates are identical between Ubuntu and Debian, so
reporting "msgid bugs" (namely typos/errors in English) is relevant
for upstream, ie Debian.

I suggest you consider dropping these changes if possible. This will
minimize the number of files affected by the diff and make it easier
to read, imho.
