There were already changes committed to trunk relative to 3.0.26a-1, and I
wasn't planning on waiting for 3.2.0 to come out before uploading those
enhancements; not to mention the possibility of security updates on the 3.0
branch any time between now and the 3.2 release.

So it is better if development unrelated to 3.2 continue on the trunk for
now, IMHO.
