if use 'recurse;ls \\\\*' instead of 'recurse;ls *' recurse work with smbclient 3.0.9, but not work with 3.2.5

What makes you think it should list files recursively ?

smb: \> help recurse
HELP recurse:
        toggle directory recursion for mget and mput


Nothing is said here about "ls" becoming resursive.

Indeed when "resurse" is toggled there are strange effects:

smb: \> recurse
smb: \> recurse off
smb: \> ls
  .                                   D        0  Sun Aug 10 11:38:38 2008
  ..                                  D        0  Sat Dec 20 08:39:44 2008
  Musique                             D        0  Sat Mar 31 14:49:53 2007

do_list: [(null)\192.168.1.1\famille\Musique\*] NT_STATUS_OBJECT_PATH_NOT_FOUND


But one shouldn't really expect anything good while I agree there seem to be weird side effects
