[Pkg-samba-maint] I'd like to package the netdomjoin-gui

Hi,

I'd really love to add the netdomjoin-gui to debian's Samba
packages. This allows for joining a samba server into an AD
domain with a GTK gui tool that is very similar to the Windoze
join dialog. It depends on the registry configuration bein
active, so on a very minimal initial smb.conf file.
(This can of course be extended and made even more comfortable.)

I also demonstrated this at the german ubucon 2008 (www.ubucon.de)
and made the request that it be packaged in debian/ubuntu
without noticing that I might get it done more quickly myself...

I'd suggest putting that binary into an extra package.

Any thoughts?
Any objections in me trying to add such a thing to the packaging?
