Yes, I was following that story through Launchpad bugs. I was indeed
expecting 3.5.7 to come out before the hard freeze. As it is less and
less likely to happen (seeing no signs of preparation in the Samba
Team mailing lists, probably because the Samba release manager is busy
with real life), I will probably consider including that fix.

I'm still hoping to be able to convince Debian RMs to accept 3.5.7 if
it comes out before the full hard freeze of squeeze, but that's not
something we can really deeply rely upon.
