Following an upgrade from Etch to Lenny, Samba shares were no longer available.
The system generated many emails with subject "Panic or Segfault in Samba"  (sample below).

I am able to work around this by removing or commenting all "write list" lines.
ie:  write list =  @TSLGROUP+Domain\ Admins
