Ok, from smbpool3 we have the heap as:

09cc6000-0ee13000 rw-p 09cc6000 00:00 0          [heap]

Can you give it a little longer (10 mins say) and then post another text from
/proc/pid/map ? I'm interested to see if the [heap] area is growing (if the
process size is still growing). If so then we'll need to start looking at
running this under valgrind to see where any malloc memory leaks might be.
