The client is doing "nothing," which doesn't prevent it from chatting
constantly.  It used the file share and the printer from samba. I can upload a
wireshark capture if that would help.  The client is Vista.

The client is also querying, using various protocols, for a printer it uses
directly, not through samba.  I don't think any of that is going to samba.

The constant chatter may be related to my original problem, bug 6754.  Things
are better under samba 3.4 than 3.2 (in terms of CPU), but still not great.
