That command generates an unsigned source package, suitable for feeding into
sbuild or pbuilder, etc. for further processing.  I don't use pbuilder, so
I'm not sure what the state of the art is there - how do you normally invoke
pbuilder for package builds out of svn?

Ok.  I'm a little hesitant for us to commit to this too eagerly (what if we
find that migrating the history of samba upstream + package to bzr is too
difficult?  We don't want to end up with a bzr workflow for one package and
a git workflow for the other...)  But on the other hand, there is certainly
a lot of bzr knowledge/experience within the team and a will to see this
conversion through, so if nobody objects, I think we can move forward.
