[Pkg-samba-maint] cifs-utils backport to lenny....SambaXP work plan

When preparing the backport of 2:3.4.7~dfsg-2 to lenny official
backports, I noticed that changes between -1 and -2 include dropping
the smbfs package.

So, if I backport this to lenny.....users need cifs-utils in lenny's
backports.

As a consequence, I want to work on this. Unfortunately, I'm not
comfortable enough with the bzr stuff and will need a close tutorial
about how to deal with branching, etc.

Steve, hopefully, you'll have time for this...:-)

In the meantime, I will probably work on this backport completely
outside the bzr repo.

For the record, I'll be in Göttingen on Monday May 3rd at about 14:00
or so (flying from Paris to Hannover 09:50-11:00 then driving from
Hannover down to Göttingen).

I haven't planned meeting with "local" german DD's this year (either
Alex and Meike Reichle in Hildesheim, or Andreas Tille in
Wernigerode...both requiring a 1 hour drive), mostly because I need
"my" evenings for coping with paid work which is very hectic these
weeks.
