[Pkg-samba-maint] Bug#517824: Status of "recurrent winbind crashes" bug report

Hello "Hybris",

In this bug report, you were reporting recurrent winbind crashes that
were happening daily. Then they became less frequent...then slightly
more frequent and this....even though nothing changed on you Windows
client.

At that time, I was suggesting you to try backported packages but you
were having problems installing them.

Since then, more official backports were released, which it would be
interesting for you to iinstall:

http://packages.debian.org/lenny-backports/samba

Would you mind installing these 3.4.7 packages?

(PS: if you're doing this as soon as you receive this mail, you might
end up in a bug, which will soon be fixed-->failure of winbind
postinst script. TO solve it just create a symlink from
/usr/sbin/pam-auth-update to /bin.true.....which you should remove
once the package is installed)
