Package:samba
Version: 2:3.5.4~dfsg-lubur

Problem:
When I change the permissions of a folder I have to restart the service smbd

What I Want:
Change the permissions and this change happens immediately without having to restart the service smbd through the codes (sudo service smbd stop ; sudo service smbd start)

PS: I'm using Kubuntu 10.10 installed by Synaptic on Ubuntu 10.10 by the package "kubuntu-desktop"... Also I'm using Dolphin as default file manager in the KDE 4.5 ... Additionally, I'm using kernel 2.6.35-22-generic-pae

Thanks for your help,

André M.
