This is apparently a day where our bug submitters are assuming we have
divination abilities.

Could you by any chance elaborate?

Reopening a bug without any explanation (except a pointer to
upstream's BTS) is....just kindly transferring the load of
guessing the hidden reasons to us, maintainers. CC'ing the package
maintainers with a few explanation words is often appreciated in such
case.
