It's probably best if you submit a bug yourself in the upstream bug tracker:
https://bugzilla.samba.org/

There isn't really much added value if someone else does this, and it would
mean a delay in the conversation.

Once the bug is filed, you can add the 'forwarded' url to this bug yourself,
that way, both bugs will be linked.
