[Pkg-samba-maint] Bug#766690: samba init script should not be started after upgrade

package: samba
severity: serious
version: 2:4.1.11+dfsg-2

Hi,

When discussing #740942, Michael Biebl mentioned that the /etc/init.d/samba
init script is not disabled on upgrade from wheezy to jessie. This means that
the init scripts for nmbd, smbd and samba-ad-dc are run twice on boot, once
directly and once via /etc/init.d/samba. This should not happen.

New installs don't have this problem.

Cheers,

Ivo
