[Pkg-scicomp-devel] problems with cholmod and atlas3-base-dev

they should, at least that's what I think.
I checked on my installation and atlas3-base-dev provides lapack
(dz)potrf_ are in lapack.

what happens when you add -L/usr/lib/atlas to the command line without 
installing lapack3-dev ?

Perhaps I should also make ufsparse depend on lapack3-dev: that should 
solve the issue and then /etc/ld.so.conf does the job to get the 
proper dynamic library.
