Yes, didn't work. But you are probably right that one should install
lapack3-dev. I just had a look at Atlas' website (don't ask me why this
didn't come to me earlier):
http://math-atlas.sourceforge.net/errata.html#completelp
"ATLAS does not provide a full LAPACK library."
So, I must expect some symbols to be missing.
