| Hi, I am glad someone is interested in that.
Ondrej ,
I am one of your user ;)
I implemented a slepc/petsc interface in my code and it works nicely :)

| I am the maintainer of
| petsc4py, slepc. petsc and petsc4py should be working out of the box.
| The problem with slepc2.3.3 is that it's license is such bad, that it
| cannot even be in debian non-free.
they change their license between 2.3.2 and 2.3.3 ?

| The last version of slepc, that can
| be in non-free is slepc2.3.2, but when I patched it to compile against
| petsc2.3.3, it compiles, but all examples segfaults. I wrote to slepc
| upstream and they are very helpful and offered me to help - but I
| don't have time at the moment to do that. Any help is appreciated.
could you send on the list your discussions with upstream ?
