[Pkg-scicomp-devel] Problems with arpack++

Rafael,

arpack++ [1,2] is unmaintained fpr many years now(not compilable,
build system not working...).
I fixed a few years ago everything (compilation with a modern c++
compiler, eg, g++4), build system using
the autotools, created also a testsuite to check all examples/tests in arpack++.
I never made an official release, not sent the patches to upstream
which is unresponsive to email,
but distributed the "fixes" directly with Debian.
