Indeed, thanks for changing that (however, I didn't now that you were
working on it and I tried to upload again: failure again).

You have to get the lapack package with "uscan" which is going to repack lapack.

Excellent question! I have no idea. It was done this way by Camm. The Debian tarball of lapack is pretty different
from the upstream one (for example, timing tests were still included
despite it was deprecated by upstream).
I am cleaning it step by step to become closer and closer from upstream
(I am only doing symlinks for now).
It is on my todo list to clean this kind of thing.
