Hello Rafael,

I do not yet have input on these questions from the other two authors,
but here is my answer:

First, the BSD license agreeement restrictions apply only to the
software, not at all to the documentation.

Given that fact, I would suggest that you continue to freely
distribute the documentation in PDF form.  Even though that may not be
compliant with DFSG, I do not see what is lost to your user community
in that solution.

I am not in favor of releasing the documentation source files.
