This is much like 518916, however the build reports no problems now:

So bug 518916 is corrected, however the problem still exists.

This is with sivp-0.5.0, the command is:
o = avifile('test2.avi', [640 ; 480]);

This also failed:

I'll build a debug version and re-test.
