ok. Finally, I've prepared a new version under
http://svn.debian.org/wsvn/pkg-scicomp/getfem%2B%2B/
with the following naming:

- getfem++ : source package
- libgetfem4++ : main lib
- libgetfem++-dbg : debugging package
- libgetfem++-dev : dev-package
- libgmm++-dev : gmm package
- python-getfem++ : python interface

The lintian warning I receive after building the package locally is:

W: libgetfem4++: package-name-doesnt-match-sonames libgetfem4

Are there any further improvements/corrections necessary?
