[Pkg-scicomp-devel] Bug#508744: patch

I can confirm that this bug is still present. I have re-based the
relevant portion of the patch from

http://reuter.mit.edu/index.php/software/arpackpatch/

on the current arpack++ package and I have included some further
modifications in order to finally fix the problem.

In total the attached patch file:

* uses "this->" to refer to protected members of a basis class (from
the original patch)
* replaces stddef.h with cstddef (from the original patch)
* replaces some "char*" in input argument declarations with "const
char*" (modifications of mine)

After these modifications, the test program that I used compiled and
run properly.
