Bug#565632: libsdl1.2debian: X unusable after SDL game/app has run in full screen

Package: libsdl1.2debian
Version: 1.2.13-5
Severity: normal

Running any SDL game, Pengupop, Forozen-Bubble, Extreme Tux racer etc in full screen mode works. When the game ends X does not return to normal, and white screen is shown and X/KDE4 is unusable. Ctrl-Alt-F1 gets you to a console okay and you have to kill and restart the X/KDE4 session.

Games play perfectly well in windoes mode without a problem. The bug is reproducable on two different systems, and was not a problem in Lenny.
