Hello,

Thank you for your interest in improving Debian, and sorry to keep the
bug unattended for so long.  There's now an effort to review the open
bugs related with SDL packages.

I think that by now everything related with OSS in Linux has changed
considerably and it's deprecated in general (though AFAIK FreeBSD
kernels use it, and there are no bug reports related).  Also there
have been new upstream versions released since this bug was reported.
It would be great if you could test whether the problem is still
ocurring, if you still have systems using OSS around.
