OK, great.

There shouldn't be any conflict with 1.2 (package names and everything
are different, files are not the same or not installed to the same
location).  If that would happen, it would be undesired and something
to be fixed.

That's one of the reasons why I think that it's appropriate to upload
to unstable directly (otherwise it would be better to avoid until the
stable release).  The other reasons are that it's not going to drop to
"testing" anytime soon, and that it should be stable enough for most
people (it's not an "alpha version").
