Well, you should only put your package into pkg-security's git repository if you
really want to maintain your package within the team. So, yes you should set the
maintainer as described in the wiki.

package in the NEW queue = package has been uploaded

so, you should not wait for the package to be in the NEW queue to modify
it, unless you want to get the ftp masters mad. :)

By the way, as far as i remember, no need for an RFS if you want to maintain the
package within the team, just drop an e-mail here and somebody will have a look. :)
