[Pkg-shadow-devel] shadow testsuite

Hi all,

Here is a first attempt for the testsuite.
(Thanks to Alexander for the support on expect)

It actually performs a very few tests. These tests may be Debian specific
(sorry Tomasz), and will probably only pass on 4.0.11.1 (this is not a bug
in shadow, but in the testsuite;)
(Also, I don't know if the shadow tools behavior is the same when compiled
with or without PAM)

With this testsuite, I just wanted to see what could be done.
The answer to this question is probably "everything" (I don't know if I
can send Ctrl-C or SIGQUIT with expect).
I mostly used shell scripts, with expect scripts when interractivity was
needed.

I don't plan to add more tests at this time (I want to focus on the
synchronization with upstream). But in the future, I would like to add
some tests for every Debian bug and every documented features.


Here are some questions:
 * If we keep this testsuite, where do we keep it?
 * If it is stored at PLD, will it be distributed with the source tarball?
 * Where do we put Debian patches for the testsuite?
 * Do we distribute it with the Debian source package?
