This make me think that pam_mount was called when the session was closed.

I don't know how pmvarrun works, and I don't understand why it retruns
that you have 6 other sessions (this may be the reason why there are no
umounts).
Maybe you can try to reboot and login on a console (without login on X
previously; the goal is to avoid any other open session: just login and
logout, without executing anything else). You can maybe also check with
"who" the number of open sessions.


Note: I've not seen the pam_mount module in your PAM's login file (it is
probably in one of the -common files included by the login's PAM file).
Make sure pam_mount is used as specified in its documentation.

I don't use pam_mount, so I can't help you much more.
Maybe you can contact the libpam-mount maintainer.
