[Pkg-shadow-devel] Announce: shadow 4.0.18.2

Hello,

The shadow tool suite 4.0.18.2 has been released and new tar balls are
available on:

ftp://pkg-shadow.alioth.debian.org/pub/pkg-shadow

This is a minor release, which include mostly fixes coming from the
previous shadow repository.

It also aims at checking if it can be released correctly from its new
home: http://pkg-shadow.alioth.debian.org


I've started reviewing the patches used by some distributions. I expect
some of these patches (or parts of them) to be included in 4.0.19.

- usermod: fixed handle -a option (by Benno Schulenberg
  <bensberg at justemail.net>),
- useradd: improved auditing support
  (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=211659),
- groupadd, groupdel, groupmod, useradd, userdel, usermod: flush nscd cashes
  after close /etc/{group,passwd} files,
- su: If compiled without PAM support, enforce the limits from /etc/limits
  when one of the -, -l, or --login options is set, even if called by root.
- limits: Support for 2 new resource limits: max nice value, and max real
  time priority. The resource limits are not used when compiled with PAM.

- groupadd.8, groupmod.8, login.1, useradd.8, userdel.8, usermod.8: grammar
