I was waiting on the init script for some reason that I'm not remembering
right at the moment, but which I suspect I'll remember as soon as I look
at it more closely.

The keygen.sh patch isn't portable since it assumes both Debian paths and
a Debian-specific (or at least Linux-specific) flag to hostname.

The metagen.sh patch to change to using /bin/bash would break on Solaris,
where (at least in very recent versions of OpenSolaris) /bin/sh is
probably functional enough since it's now ksh.
