I'm in an awkward network state for the next couple of weeks, so i
can't promise anything from my end here :(

I'm worried that these two good goals might conflict with one another.
One of the major changes in the move to policy 3.8.0 (as i understand
it) is that "courtesy copies" (duplication of source code) are now
explicitly discouraged.  I'm afraid that the silc-client package as it
currently stands amounts to both a "courtesy copy" of the irssi
source, and a "courtesy copy" of the source of silc-toolkit.  It's
entirely possible that i'm mistaken here, though.  What do other folks
on the list think?  If this a real concern, any thoughts about how to
resolve it?
