The extended description contains:

The biggest similarity between SILC and IRC is that they both provide
conferencing services and that SILC has almost same commands as IRC.

"same" is used with "the", except when used with demonstratives. This 
should probably read:

The biggest similarity between SILC and IRC is that they both provide
conferencing services and that SILC has almost the same commands as IRC.


BTW, the following sentence seems to contradict this one:

The biggest similarity between SILC and IRC is that they both provide
conferencing services and that SILC has almost same commands as IRC.  Other
than that they are nothing alike.

The first sentence specifies it refers to the *biggest* similarity, 
suggesting there are other similarities. The second sentence says there 
aren't.
