   That version is certainly one that should be included into Debian as
soon as possible, which is also recommended by upstream.[1]

   OTOH, it's not out yet and since I do want to see the next upload
migrate to wheezy, would it be better to focus on getting 1.3.21
uploaded and work on anything newer than that later?  The proposed
version 1.3.22 does include fixes, but then each new release does that
and that also means a bigger upstream change from what is currently in
wheezy.
