   The reason I'm putting that in is that I've found some 50 Perl source
files that have various types of issues with the pod NAME entries in the
files, which end up causing the above Lintian warnings after the man
pages are created from them.  For instance: some don't have the short
description, and some don't have the dash ("-") or have a comma or colon
instead.  

   There are at least a couple of files that also have spelling errors
and I'll likely address those first.  (Patch plus upstream bug.)
