    Since I don't see a way for me to get a new upload ready prior to
the freeze, I can certainly see the point of that. The version of the
package currently in unstable/testing is 1.3.18-1. I did get a start on
packaging 1.3.19 (which has both upstream & debian related fixes) but
ran into an issue with packaging for an upstream change that I haven't
had time to resolve.
    I'm thinking now of going back and doing a 1.3.18-2 package, which
would include the debconf templates & related changes as well as a fix
for a debian/watch issue.  Even that wouldn't be ready until at least
next week, though...
