   I assume you meant, editing them in /etc/ledgersmb/templates?  I'm
not seeing any physical files that are editable there but that may be
because of a paths issue with the way the Debian package is installed
and configured.  (I.e.;  the app can't create the default versions of
the files because it can't access the directory.)

   A fix for an issue I found with doing the editing online within the
application (which appears to be related to the templates path) was
added by upstream and I expect it'll be available in v1.3.14.  I'll be
investigating this further after that's available.
