ah. It's rather straightforward to get this done, see

(I'd also be glad to sponsor freeipa related uploads to bpo for you...)

I've now taken another look at the backport and have seen you've disabled the 
sssd-ipa package, which is the reason I want this backport. I'll try to lower 
the version depends on krb5 (as I dont need the OTP feature yet) and use the 
samba4 backport and will report back here, whether that has worked or not.
