I provided the user with a quick edgy backport from the sid package.
He eventually reported that it compiles and works fine, but his build
log shows that 29 java tests failed, which is a lot more than usual (we
ignore java failures at the moment), so I don't have much confidence in
libsvn-java being correct. Anyway, the backport I did is at
svn://svn.debian.org/pkg-subversion/branches/edgy/ if you want to use
it as a starting point.

In fact, if you'd like to use our repository at svn.debian.org for
maintaining your backports, instead of whatever you use now, let me
know and I can see about getting write access for you.

Apropos of nothing, any word on the copyright/license status of
svn_load_dirs?
