You mean systemd-vconsole?
Not sure, probably not. It's considered a dead end upstream [1] as the
Linux Kernel Console is deemed unfixable and likely/maybe replaced by
something like kmscon in the future. They won't add any new features to
systemd-vconsole for that reason.

I think sticking with console-setup in Debian and not going through a
needless transition here, is the reasonable thing to do.
