Package: bootlogd
Version: bootlogd 2.86 03-Jun-2004
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

bootlogd fails with the following message:
bootlogd: cannot find console device 136:4 in /dev

I verified and /dev/console is present:
crw------- 1 root root 5, 1 2006-07-02 18:27 /dev/console

ttyzf is also present:
crw-rw-rw- 1 root tty 3, 175 2006-07-02 18:25 /dev/ttyzf

Following the bootlogd manpage, it says that if the console type is not
known to bootlogd, it fails.

My kernel is 2.6.17.1
