[Pkg-sysvinit-devel] Bug#434570: if-up.d/mountnfs doesn't work on nfs-root systems

Package: initscripts
Version: 2.86.ds1-38
Severity: normal

I have an nfs-root system. But not only root is mounted via NFS. /home
is a separate NFS mount.

This currently seems to fail, and I think it's because mounting NFS is
done by an if-up script. But for an NFS root system, the interface
is brought up by the initrd, not by ifup.

Maybe this isn't the right fix, but it worked for me: Add a line to
the end of mountnfs.sh to run mount -a -t nfs
