I've had this problem before as well, and had to IIRC make my own
mirror for testing.

Since the missing perl dependency is a bug anyway, I'll make the
upload as in the patch and then it should be testable on the
mirrors tomorrow.  If not, please just reopen the bug and we
can look at it further.
