Thanks. IMHO it would be useful on updates (not first installations) to
run automatically.

If you need to run it by hand, the dbX.X_recover utility is sufficient.
IMHO it does not make much difference whter you type a command or
command with parameters. This has the disadvantage that the exact X
depends on the current libdb-version, which led to the perl script.
