[Pkg-tpctl-devel] New SMAPI interface driver: tp_smapi

I don't know if all (or any) of you is aware of this, but Shem Multinymous
is writing a new kernel module called 'tp_smapi' which provides access to
ThinkPad SMAPI BIOS functionality via a /sys interface.  This replaces
thinkpad modules and tpctl for newer ThinkPad modules.  Obviously this
should be in Debian once it stabilizes, and we are the obvious candidates
to package it.  :)  I am not sure how we should go about it, though.
