so which packages do you deem ready? I see you close a couple of
bugs already with the new uml package.

have you started putting stuff into the svn repository? then we
can put the roostrap stuff there, too.

yes, i understand. but this is not what i need/want. i rebuild
the image every time with the new packages to have a prestine
environment to run my testsuite in, with rootstrap. 

so the manual solution you propose needs to be implemented in
rootstrap, or if it is there already, it needs to be fixed.

I hoped you knew this (rootstrap) issue and how to fix it.
