Its a Linutop PC (the old one) with a card reader. It boots
from a USB memory stick and uses a memory card for mass
storage. Surely not a big number cruncher, but since it
consumes only 5W or so it is perfect for a home server
running all the time.

hal is needed to support replacing the sd card at run time.
